Our 2020 range includes the styles on display here in the commissions’ gallery at Watergate Street Gallery which can be recreated to fit your specific requirements. It may be that you would like the colour palette to be different or the size to be smaller or larger etc. - our bespoke service will give you the opportunity to acquire a piece of abstract art that fits your interior space perfectly.
Inspired by an image or photograph you have seen?
Perhaps you have been inspired by an image you have seen and would like to commission a piece of abstract art that is based around it. Bring the image into the gallery and our consultant can discuss and develop these ideas with you.
A Closer Look at the 2020 Range
Inspired by the tracks left on the ski slopes by the colourfully dressed skiers. Contemporary, textured stripes are created using a mixed- media approach which allows the paint to work its way down the canvas forming spontaneous stripes of colour.
A range of bright, vivid paintings based around the English summer garden. The artist builds up layers of paint to create depth and surface pattern in a lively style. Working with mark-making tools, brushes, drips and splatters, the artist creates expressive, abstracted florals.
This series explores coastal water with its intriguing forms, patterns and textures. These can be recreated in a variety of those colours from the sea such as turquoise, teal, grey or blue and green to fit perfectly into your interior. These can be finished with a gloss or matt varnish and with the option of adding sparkles of glitter dust for extra effect.
A range of calm, tranquil seascapes that can be reproduced in different colour-ways to suit your interior. These are inspired by the seas around North Wales and the Cornish coast. The artists spends as much time as possible by the sea and is constantly inspired by the patterns and colours from the waves and shoreline, the varying horizon contrasts and cloud formations.
These are in-depth, textured pieces that can contain any key colour to match your interior. The artist refers to her sketches and paintings carried out on-site at the harbourside, focusing on the distressed, aged surfaces of harbour walls, the tones created by moving shadows and the deep textures impressed over the years of tidal change.
Underwater fantasy paintings of beautiful coral reefs, sea-life and a magical world of mystery and colour. The artist takes you on a creative journey by mixing media, blasts of colour and an array of textures to create unique and energised paintings.
The Commissioning Process
Make an appointment with our consultant to discuss your ideas in a friendly, no obligation meeting.
We provide a fixed quote that will include work on preliminary sketches and site visits, a commissioning agreement that details the project with dates etc and discuss framing options and those costs before you commit to the commission.
If you decide to go ahead you will have the opportunity to approve the work in progress at key stages.
Upon completion, the painting is either delivered to you or you can collect - we are happy to help with installation and hanging if required.
Prices range from £325 to £1,500.
