One of the UK's best-selling and widely sought after artists Kerry Darlington is inspired by a diverse range of influences such as the earth's natural forms, pre-raphaelite art, fairytales and book illustrations. Kerry has skillfully developed the use of modern materials and processes through the layering of polyresin and 3D relief to create the unique style for which she has become so well-known.
Kerry was awarded the Fine Art Trade Guild's 'Best Artist' in 2012 and her work continues to increase in desirability with recent unique editions selling out rapidly. The Watergate Street Gallery was the first gallery to exhibit Kerry's wonderful art over fifteen years ago and we continue to display a diverse selection of her art in the gallery.
It is possible to arrange a commission with us for an original abstract piece of art from Kerry.
The focus of her abstract work is inspired by geological features such as volcanoes and oceanic rifts. Kerry emulates the texture and pattern of these formations by combining a range of materials such as inks, acrylics, tissue paper and resin in a series of layers. When you look closely, you can see beyond the seemingly effortless fluidity of them and discover how multi-layered these paintings are!
Please contact us if you would like further information on arranging a commission.
